D&D Grenache Rose 2020
I’m not sure about the rest of Australia, but here in the Barossa we had a real taste of spring on Saturday, with temperatures hitting 25 degrees for the first time since April. Lovely. Let’s not mention that we were plunged back into winter on Sunday (and today brrr), and instead focus on the fact that it’s officially the start of spring tomorrow. And spring means it’s time for rosé!
It feels like this year has gone by so quickly (thank goodness, I hear you say). It’s hard to believe that our little Grenache berries were still on the vine only a few months ago and today they’re wine – gracing the Naked virtual shelves in our newly released 2020 Dolan & Dunn Barossa Valley Rosé.
Perfect to ring in the start of spring, with freshly cooked yabbies, Vietnamese spring rolls, pad thai, crispy fish tacos, or Barossa washed rind cheese and crackers.
Pretty as a picture, the wine is all about Grenache, bright and lively, and stamped with unmistakeable Barossa-ness. It’s fresh and delicate with abundant red-berry fruits, subtle florals, and hints of gentle spice, with a long, balanced, refreshing palate, with a fine backbone of crisp, natural acidity.
Dolan & Dunn Grenache Rosé is available exclusively through Naked Wines.
