BAROSSA VALLEY GRENACHE

2018

A FRESH TAKE ON A TRADITIONAL BAROSSA MAINSTAY, THIS BRIGHT, CAPTIVATING GRENACHE HAS AROMAS OF WILD RASPBERRY, WHITE PEPPER AND GENTLE SPICE. THE PALATE IS MEDIUM-BODIED, JUICY, SLEEK AND LIVELY, FINISHING WITH FINE, SUPPLE TANNINS.

One of the Barossa’s most charismatic varieties, hand-picked from gnarly old bush vines grown on the deep, sandy soils of Vine Vale – an obvious choice to showcase quintessential Barossa-ness in a bright, modern wine. A late- ripening variety, patience is key when harvesting Grenache to ensure optimum physiological and flavour ripeness. Plenty of sunshine and the moderate Barossa climate repay this patience in spades, bringing out the very best of a variety that’s brim-full of regional character.

An uncomplicated approach to winemaking allows the fruit to speak for itself.
